What to Expect from You in a Typical Tutoring Session
Please bring relevant materials with you; this includes, but is not limited to, homework, textbooks, course notes, and your own class notes.
Ask questions! I am there to help, encourage, and support you. If you feel lost, tell me at once so that I can clarify. I will not judge you on what you do/don't know.
Try to keep distractions, e.g. texting and social media - to a minimum during the tutoring session. If you need a break, please let me know at once.
Have questions ready, especially before a test. This will encourage you to study early and maximize your time during the session.
Stress only brings harm. Take a deep breath and relax! A clear mind does wonders. I'll throw in the occasional joke to loosen the atmosphere.
Cramming for exams doesn't work. Start by preparing early. If you wait until the last second for a tutoring session, you might be too late!
If you did not pay online beforehand, please bring payment with you. I accept a huge variety of methods of payment. Click here to learn more.
I hope you find my sessions helpful, and as long as you have an open mind, you'll find my tutoring sessions educational and maybe a little entertaining!
